IntoMeSea Incorporates Healthier Ways to Be Close.
As we ride out the current Covid situation, IntoMeSea will be requiring one time proof of vaccination or a recent (within 48 hours) negative Covid test for all IntoMeSea guests.
All Team members are vaccinated.
UV lights in our heating system and float tank filtration system kills 99.98% of viruses including COVID-19.
Electrostatic sprayers using Clean-Republic disinfectant before and after every class.
IntoMeSea is a registered Clean Republic Site: Clean Republic received an EPA endorsement of their Disinfectant + Sanitizer, for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, as well as MRSA, HIV, and Norovirus.
IntoMeSea is a registered Clean-Site, every room is sterilized daily using Scandia PowerZones: Clean-Site Certification is based on Powerzone O3 technology; the most effective sterilization system clinically proven to kill 99.99% of viruses, bacteria, mold and other micro-organisms. Using corona discharge electrolysis, the Powerzone generator manipulates oxygen molecules (O2) to create an O3 molecule. O3 is an unstable version of the Oxygen molecule that craves organics and destroys micro-organisms on contact.
Antibacterial hand sanitizing stations located throughout the studio.
IntoMeSea is sea-k-ing healthier ways to interact as the ONE energy that we are, while also maintaining our personal physical boundaries inside of our new spiritual wellness center.
When our guest enters our doors, we ask that they remove their shoes. Our Aqua Techs will provide a pair of individually wrapped sanitary slippers for use in our studio – just drop in the basket by the door on the way out. We ask that guests approach our reception desk one-by-one. Our 2 check-in spaces… far enough apart from each other… allow each Team Member to give individual attention to one person at a time. Additional guests are asked to wait in the lounge area on the Knoll Steps, which are large enough to sit on while honoring a healthy distance between each other, and only move to the desk when the previous guest has left.
All of our modalities accommodate one person at a time: float tanks, soaking tubs and the Lucia N°03 Light Experience, and are sanitized thoroughly and energetically cleared between each user. Each locker room has 3 showers and again, we ask that anyone waiting to take a shower holds space at a 6 foot distance.
The Labyrinth is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between every use. Upon entering, guests will remove their slippers and leave them by the doors. We have antimicrobial, essential oil wipes for the feet, which smell lovely and helps maintain the energetic and physical health of our studio and guests.
We provide disposable facemasks in case you have forgotten yours, there are hand sanitizer stations at select locations, and each locker room has two sinks for hand washing. Our entire studio is kept clean during the day with the help of our Aqua Tech’s and outside cleaning service.
The Team Members at IntoMeSea are dedicated to providing a stellar soaking experience and a calm, clean place to relax.
We deliver the quiet so you can experience the peace.
THE NEW WAVE OF CLEANLINESS
IntoMeSea is serious about providing our community with the most hygienic float tank experience possible. Repeated water tests show that the cleaning methods used in the float tank industry are beyond sufficient to maintain exceptional hygienic standards. In addition to providing the buoyancy in the float, salt has remarkable cleansing properties, and in high concentrations, it is nearly impossible for any microorganism to grow.
Dr. Oscar Pancorbo, a microbiologist and Director of the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) addressed the issue of microorganism viability in high salt environments. He says, "No pathogenic organisms can survive salt concentrations above approximately 10 percent".
The salt concentration in our tanks is more than 3 times higher than this!!
HOW DO WE KEEP OUR WATER FREE OF GERMS, CLEAN & CRYSTAL CLEAR?
In addition to a high concentration (nearly 35% in 12 inches of water) of Epsom salts (Magnesium Sulfate) our cleaning cycle contains an added 35% solution of hydrogen peroxide (h202) which breaks down any organic matter and aids the filters in performing more efficiently at keeping the water sparkling clean. The water is circulated three full cycles between each user to further remove impurities, and a UV filter system is extra insurance that all bacteria will be killed.
The threefold cleaning process that takes place after each single float and combines hydrogen peroxide, 3 repetitions of water circulation with a UV filter, ensures that IntoMeSea is providing our guests with the cleanest soaking experience possible. Our industry has never found the need to use chlorine, a substance with adverse side effects, and water tests show our methods are extremely safe and very effective.
IntoMeSea works hand-in-hand with the Health Department to provide our guests with the cleanest and safest float possible. Our studio receives regular surprise visits from the Health Department to test the water in every tank and to ensure our logbooks are filled out properly and up-to-date.
INTOMESEA GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND BY CREATING OUR PERSONAL BEST STANDARDS FOR CLEANLINESS:
We follow the guidelines set forth by The United States Float Tank Standards (USFTS), which were created by the Float Tank Association (FTA) of which IntoMeSea is a member. The FTA establishes clear, effective float tank standards, and communicates to regulators and the public on behalf of the float industry. They state that water should be replaced every 1000 floats OR every 6 months. Most float tank businesses change their water every 6 months; a few replace theirs every 5 months; we replace ours every 4 months!
All wet rooms have waterproof, textured, epoxy floors, the same as used in the healthcare industry as the anti-microbial additives help control the growth of unhealthy bacteria. They are seamless and crack-free with cove bases that are easy to clean, maintain and keep germ-free.
Our float techs are trained in safe cleaning practices in all areas of the float suites, as well as the locker rooms and every other area of our studio.
Each float tank and float tank suite is cleaned and inspected every 2 hours from top to bottom.
We employ an outside cleaning service for deep cleaning every day.
IntoMeSea is dedicated to maintaining a hygienic and safe environment for all our guests and team members. We strive to stay in step with current health advisories. Let IntoMeSea do the worrying for you, so you may enjoy a peaceful and relaxing experience.
